The Duke of Kent visited Barford on Wednesday 4th May to officially open the King George`s playing fields. The children from St Peters school lined the street waving their flags as he walked  to Barford Village shop. He was most impressed by the shop. He then had a lunch in the Memorial Hall before leaving. The weather was fantastic which added to the whole amazing day for the village.
